All Morven Members and invited guests are welcome to an opening reception for the museum's newest exhibition, Morven Revealed: Untold Stories from New Jersey’s Most Historic Home.
April is poetry month and what better place to spend it than at the home of one of America's first female published poets, Annis Boudinot Stockton. Join us to enjoy Morven's gardens (weather permitting) while discovering the "magic" of the People & Stories/ Gente y Cuentos method - making connections, transforming lives through literature - one short story at a time. This is a free event. Pre-registration is required.
You’re invited to a hybrid panel discussion exploring Morven’s journey from Governor’s Mansion to opening as a museum in 2004. Your in-person ticket includes access to visit Morven’s newest exhibition, Morven Revealed: Untold Stories from New Jersey’s Most Historic Home, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. before the program.
Join the Princeton Storytelling Circle for a two-part program, “Sowing Story Seeds,” exploring folk and fairy tales on the fertile grounds of the Historical Society of Princeton on Saturday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m., and the rich soil of the gardens at Morven on Wednesday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available for individual events or for purchase as a series including both dates.
Explore Princeton's Mercer Hill neighborhood and the Stockton family's fascinating history on this springtime walk led by the authors of Discovering Princeton: A Photographic Guide with Five Walking Tours. Space is limited to 25 participants so act fast to reserve your spot. The rain date for the tour is Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Capture the beauty of Morven’s gardens and grounds in a two-day Plein-Air Painting Workshop with the Arts Council of Princeton and instructor, Debra Pisacreta. Beginner to intermediate students are welcome. The rain makeup date is Friday, May 25, 2024.

A National Historic Landmark, Morven is situated on five pristine acres in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. The home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former New Jersey Governor’s Mansion, Morven showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Garden State through regular exhibitions, educational programs, and special events.
